Details: 1 photo; 8 weeks; offers photography internships especially for minorities; “Our coverage centers on national political trends, and we stress a thoughtful, analytical approach to our long-term photo projects, as well as the daily work load. The entire staff will help the successful candidate through a full range of learning responsibilities and the usual one or two assignments per day. Applicants must have the use of their own car and camera equipment, although the company can supply specialty pool lenses (Nikon), transmission kits, location lighting as well as the use of a large, state-of-the-art studio. The application package must include a resume, a 1,000-word autobiography, references with daytime phone numbers and a portfolio of 20-40 imagse. Stories are especially welcome. The format of presentation should be uniform, but it will be your choice whether to send us duplicate slides, digital files, clips, or 8” by 10” prints. Captions and any supporting text are important. For the return of your portfolio, include a strong and roomy SASE.
