- project has officially ended on March 31, 2012.

Students Preparing To Advance Into Careers In Engineering (S.P.A.C.E.) Project allows The University of North Carolina - General Administration and its North Carolina Mathematics and Science Education Network Pre-College Program (NC-MSEN PCP) to expose high school students to innovative, valuable out-of-school time NASA - related STEM experiences that enrich their in-school time science and mathematics learning. This year round, multi-year academic enrichment helps students acquire the skills needed to enter and remain in the STEM pipeline. NASA-related STEM curriculum and resources are integrated into the following program components and activities:
