NC-MSEN is committed to providing high quality professional development programs in mathematics and science education that enhance teacher learning and support state and national educational guidelines. Dr. Johnson recently received
the W.W. Rankin Award from the NC Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
The award, Dr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Appalachian, a master’s degree from American University, and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.
