2004 Cohort

A list of 2004 student fellows is in the table below. Fellows were selected from a variety of colleges and universities across the United States, including historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), small liberal arts colleges, and research universities. The 2004 fellows worked on projects in such fields as government and politics, economics, history, sociology, psychology, English, Spanish, and Latin American studies. Some project titles included: "Historicizing History in John Edgar Widemer's The Cattle Killing;" "When Disaster Comes: Exploring Social Networks in Rural African American Communities;" "The Narrative Discourse of Female Gender, Sexuality and Power in Maya Civilization;" "IMF Structural Adjustment in Ghana: An Empirical Analysis of the Impact of Structural Adjustment Austerity Level to Poverty Alleviation;" and "She'll Cut You Deep: Examining Within-Group Aggression Among African American Female College Students."
