UNC-Chapel Hill.
Are you curious
about opportunities to engage in original inquiry and research at Carolina? Not sure where to begin? Come to the Center for Dramatic Art lobby and look for students wearing "HOST" nametags. They will help you to identify projects that match your interests.
During the symposium, you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with potential faculty advisors and learn what students like you have accomplished.
For symposium details including advice on preparing abstracts, poster design and size, and presenter responsibilities, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page.
2010 Schedule:
There will be concurrent talks ("Platform Sessions"), poster sessions, and performance sessions. The Platform & Performance Schedule lists the order of the 15 minute presentations (each session begins at 1:00). The Poster Schedule includes each poster number (students will be present at their posters from 1-1:45 for odd numbered posters and from 2-2:45 for even numbered posters). The schedules also include links to the abstracts.
Carolina Research Scholars recognition and Poster Awards
At 3:00 pm, everyone is invited to the Elizabeth Price Kenan theater to honor the 2009-2010 Carolina Research Scholars. Also, recipients of the symposium Poster Awards will be announced. The winning posters will be displayed in the Undergraduate Library until graduation, and then in a rotating display throughout 2010-2011.
