The PBS Democracy
Project
http://www.pbs.org/democracy/classroom/
This is a great
resource for elementary, middle, and high school teachers. This site
has numerous suggestions for teaching students about how our government,
especially the election process, works. Of added interest are the
links on individual U.S. presidents. There are also links for middle
and high school teachers about ideas for "media studies," which help students
think critically about the TV media and advertising agencies.
