do not currently send out printed materials about our program. However,
if you have specific questions that are not answered on our website,
please contact us using the Philosophy

In addition, hard copies of the following materials need to be sent directly to us:
1) a sample of philosophical writing
2) a statement of purpose which accurately characterizes your research interests
3) three letters of recommendation with The Graduate School Recommendation Form Waiver attached
4) official transcripts from all undergraduate and gradaute institutions you have attended
5) *OPTIONALLY* additional information concerning your philosophical training
that might help convey to the admissions committee an accurate sense
of your background (e.g., a description of courses taken or a list
of main texts studied).

The application deadline is January 1st. All materials that are sent directly to the Department of Philosophy should be received by January 1st.
