Jamin is in his third year of graduate study at Chapel Hill. He has a BA in philosophy from Whitman College, and an MA in philosophy from Northern Illinois University. In his Master's thesis for Chapel Hill, Jamin defended the claim that constructive empiricism is inconsistent with deflationary conceptions of truth. His main research areas fall under metaphysics and the philosophy of science, and he also maintains interests in epistemology, metaethics, the history of modern philosophy, and the philosophy of logic. Jamin has served as the Research Assistant for the Parr Center for Ethics, and was previously a fellow at the Hong Kierkegaard Library at St. Olaf College.
