Nena Davis graduated from Macalester College and spent four years in "the real world" before coming to UNC-CH for graduate school. Before starting at UNC-CH, Nena was awarded the four-year Javits Fellowship, and is currently in the fourth year of that fellowship. Her research interests include: ethics, political philosophy, and applied ethics. The title of her M.A. thesis is "Living Organ Sellers' Market: A Kantian Ethical Analysis." The tentative topic area for her dissertation is virtue ethics.
