Ben is a Ph.D student at the Australian National University. His primarily interested in metaethics and philosophy of biology. His main focus is on the role of sexual selection in the evolution of morality. He wonders whether moral behaviour might have evolved as a costly signal of mate quality. He also wonders whether sexual selection as an explanatory resource might make a distinctive contribution to establishing an evolutionary error theory.
