Dylan came to the UNC
philosophy department in 2001, after graduating from the University
of Pittsburgh in 1998 with a B.A. in philosophy and political
science. He works primarily in philosophy of mind and philosophy
of psychology, particularly on issues relating to concepts
and mental representations. He is currently completing a dissertation
on concept acquisition under the direction of Jesse Prinz.
He also has interests in philosophy of language, epistemology,
philosophy of science, and the history of modern philosophy.
