Synopsis
In our National Science Foundation-sponsored summer research program at Duquesne University, undergraduate fellows are integral and important members of laboratory teams carrying out significant research in chemistry and biochemistry under the direct mentorship of our faculty.  The program includes lab research, weekly seminars, and social events with other undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. The program concludes with a symposium and farewell barbecue. We anticipate that participants will attend regional or national scientific meetings and publish the results of their summer research.

To apply, please submit the application form (cover sheet) available at our program web site along with an official copy of your most recent transcript, two letters of recommendation from faculty who can assess your ability to do research, and a separate sheet (one page) containing a statement about your career goals and what you hope to accomplish by participating in this program.  A resume is also required and should be one page in length.
