Synopsis
The focus of the Summer Undergraduate Research in Science and Engineering Disciplines program is 10 weeks of full-time laboratory or field research under the direction of a University of Minnesota faculty mentor. Over 1,500 faculty in basic and applied sciences and engineering disciplines are potential mentors for approximately 200 undergraduates in the programs. Most programs require that students have completed two years of basic college-level course work with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
