Synopsis
The Howard Hughes Honors Summer Institute, which is supported by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, affords undergraduates the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in genomics, bioinformatics, and computational biology at New York University. Each selected undergraduate is paired with a faculty member whose research is of interest to the student, and through laboratory work, seminars, discussion groups, faculty lectures, and social activities, the participants learn about a variety of topics that are related to contemporary life sciences. The program culminates in a research festival, during which the students present their findings to each other, faculty, and guests.Contact
