Stipend
$250/week for full time work; room and board for out of town students. Round trip transportation to campus.

Synopsis
Students will learn about molecular biosciences research by being involved in it. Each student will work as a part of a research team on a project using molecular biology techniques. Students will receive orientation to scientific method, to reasearch, to the University and to Tucson. Participants will present their experimental results at a poster conference.

 Cost: $50 room deposit due upon arrival-refundable at the end of the program if no damages are incurred.

 Eligibility: Current undergraduate students who have completed 24 credit hours, including college level introductory biology, chemistry, and math courses. Native American/Alaska Native. Able to spend from May 6 through August 6 on campus.

 To apply: Applications should be completed and returned with the applicant's official transcript and at least one letter of recommendation from a science professor.
