DANIEL P.
GITTERMAN, PH.D.
Dr. Gitterman is Associate
Professor of Public Policy and serves as
Director of
Undergraduate Studies. He joined the faculty in July 2000. He
received a B.A. from Connecticut College, M.A. from the
University of Pennsylvania, and an A.M. and Ph.D. in Political
Science from Brown University. He was an Exchange Scholar in
the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and Ph.D. Program in
Health Policy at Harvard University. Before coming to
Carolina, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of
California at Berkeley and recipient of a National Institute
of Mental Health (NIMH) National Research Service Award
(NRSA).
