Recipe ~ Chili soup  
 
Things needed:  Equipment:  
  • 1 pound ground beef 
  • 1 -- 46 ounce can tomato juice
  • 2 -- 15 ounce cans kidney  beans 
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix 
  • 1 onion 
  • crock pot or slow cooker
  • frying pan
  • can opener
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • spatula
  •  
    Steps:  
    Print copy of recipe and check off box when completed. 
    1.   Fry ground beef in frying pan on stove at medium temperature. Stir the hamburger with the spatula. Continue frying until hamburger is brown.
    o 2.  Put hamburger in the crock pot or slow cooker.
    o 3. Open cans of tomato juice and kidney beans with the can opener.
    o 4. Put tomato juice and kidney beans in the crock pot or slow cooker.
    o 5. Open package of taco seasoning and put in crock pot or slow cooker. Stir mixture.
    o 6. Chop onion on cutting board with sharp knife. Cut onion into small pieces.
    o 7. Put onion pieces into the crock pot or slow cooker.
    o 8. Turn crock pot or slow cooker on low heat. 
    o 9. Cook for 6-8 hours.

    Tortilla chips 
    Celery and carrot sticks 
    Ice cream
