The School of Nursing's Research Support Center was established in July, 1985, to facilitate faculty research endeavors, with particular emphasis on expanding the research base in the School of Nursing, increasing external funding for faculty research, and developing new scholars and their programs of research. With the introduction of the doctoral and post-doctoral programs, the Center's mission expanded to include facilitation of doctoral-student and post-doctoral fellow research.
