Chair's Message
Welcome to SEANC District 19. As Chair of District 19 of the State Employees Association of North Carolina I invite you to become an active part of our organization. Have you ever thought about how we as state employees and retirees obtain and maintain our salary and benefits? As you review our web page you can see how SEANC plays a vital role in securing benefits as well as protecting state employees. It provides a unified voice where we need it most -- in the General Assembly, to the Governor, and before state departments and agencies. There are many challenges ahead as we strive to retain and improve our rights and benefits.

You may also wonder why you should be a part of SEANC. Remember that membership in SEANC doesn't cost, it pays. A variety of discount opportunities are also available to you as a member of SEANC. From amusement parks to eye care to travel, from Murphy to Chapel Hill to Manteo, there's a discount opportunity for you. If you plan to travel or to shop you should review our directory for discounts. In addition to providing scholarships to our deserving students and an excellent insurance program, SEANC offers many other benefits and discounts to its members. Just remember, you must show your SEANC membership card to receive discounts.
