Dr. Góra was the Director of the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Social Security Reform which started in Poland on January 1, 1999. He continues to work on the Polish reform and is also involved in pension reform activities in various countries. Since 2002, he has been an economic adviser to the President of Poland. Dr. Góra is the author of various articles in the fields of pension economics, labor economics, unemployment, labor market policies, and macro and microeconomic problems of the transition of Central and Eastern Europe.
