The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures is pleased to announce a lecture by Dr. Anne Hruska (Ph.D., Berkeley), one of our three finalists for the position of assistant professor of 19th-century Russian Literature. Dr. Hruska, who currently teaches at Stanford, will give a talk titled "Love and Slavery: Tolstoy, Emancipation, and the Family Novel."
