The Duke Institute of the Arts and the Center for Slavic, Eurasian, and East European Studies is sponsoring "An Evening of Russian Music," performances of works by Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, by soloists from the St. Petersburg Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Mussorgsky Theatre--Marina Tregubovich (soprano, Dmitry Karpov (tenor), and Aleksandr Smorodkin (piano)--and soloists from Duke University--Susan Dunn (soprano), David Heid (piano), and Benjamin Ward (piano).
