Stress and Health in the Central and Eastern European Countries

Dr. Stauder will be presenting in our departmental research seminar at12:30 on Wednesday, March 5. The title of her presentation will be:"Stress and Health in the Central and Eastern European Countries."

Dr. Stauder is part of a group of researchers directed by ProfessorMaria Kopp at Semmelweis University Institute of Behavioral Sciences whoare conducting research on the epidemiology of CVD and other healthproblems associated with stress and related disruptions in the Centraland Eastern European countries over the past 10 - 20 years, since thebreak-up of the Soviet empire. In addition to presenting datadocumenting these relationships among social upheaval, stress, andhealth indicators, Dr. Stauder will present several programs to reducehealth impacts through stress management and related programs.
