Short-Term Travel Grants (STG) Program 2009-2010

IREX is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2009-2010 Short-Term Travel Grants (STG) Program.

The STG Program provides fellowships to US scholars and professionals for up to eight weeks of overseas research on contemporary political, economic, historical, or cultural developments relevant to US foreign policy.

Completed applications are due no later than February 2, 2009Postdoctoral Scholars and Professionals with advanced degrees are eligible to apply for the STG Program.

Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

STG is funded by the United States Department of State Title VIII Program.
