Bioterrorism Wall Charts

The North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE), at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has developed two wall charts on bioterrorism agents. (Scoll down this page to see an image of the wall chart.) A small version of these wall charts is online and available for your use for educational purposes as long as you use the charts in their complete form, including the disclaimer and credit to the North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology.

The purpose of the charts is for display for medical personnel in emergency rooms, urgent care centers, physicians' offices, and other primary care first responders. The charts present a concise summary of signs and symptoms to assist with early recognition and alert healthcare workers of the potential for bioterrorism agents. Once a bioterrorism agent is suspected, the healthcare worker will need to consult more in-depth resources.
