About Carolina Horizons:

As you start your high-school years, you begin the decision-making process about your college destination, or even whether or not you plan on attending college. Carolina Horizons is a program designed to introduce UNC and the college experience to young men in freshman and sophomore classes from local high schools.

As a participant in Carolina Horizons, you will have an opportunity to hear from selected faculty, staff and students who will answer questions about the academic programs, financial aid, housing and social life here at Carolina. In addition, you will have an opportunity to attend a Carolina baseball game. We highly recommend this program, especially for young men who think that college is beyond their reach.
