From I-40 East (Raleigh)

  1. Take Exit 273 (Hwy 54) and go west towards Chapel Hill.
  2. Continue for 4 miles to top of the hill; get in the left lane.
  3. At the traffic light at Country Club Road, turn left.
  4. Take a quick right onto Ridge Road.
  5. Continue to the Ram’s Head Parking Lot, on the right just past Stadium Drive.

From I-85 South (Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem)

  1. Take I-40 East towards Raleigh.
  2. Take exit 270 (Highway 15-501 South); turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
  3. Follow 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill; the highway will divide.
  4. Remain on 15-501 South, bearing left and away from Franklin Street.
  5. Turn right at Highway 54 exit; follow sign for “UNC-Chapel Hill.”
  6. Continue to top of the hill; get in the left lane.
  7. At the traffic light at Country Club Road, turn left.
  8. Take a quick right onto Ridge Road.
  9. Continue to the Ram’s Head Parking Lot, on the right just past Stadium Drive.

From I-85 North (Washington DC, Richmond, Durham)

  1. Follow I-85 to intersection with Highway 15-501 South.
  2. Follow 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill; the highway will divide.
  3. Remain on 15-501 South, bearing left and away from Franklin Street.
  4. Turn right at Highway 54 exit; follow sign for UNC-Chapel Hill.
  5. Continue to top of the hill; get in the left lane.
  6. At the traffic light at Country Club Road, turn left.
  7. Take a quick right onto Ridge Road.
  8. Continue to the Ram’s Head Parking Lot, on the right just past Stadium Drive.
