The faculty of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a state treasure, an invaluable reservoir of knowledge about contemporary and historical issues.
You can tap that reservoir for your club or organization through Carolina Speakers, the University's speakers bureau. More than ninety of our faculty and staff, all at the leading edge of teaching and research in their disciplines, have volunteered addresses on more than one hundred and fifty topics, including forty-six that focus on North Carolina and the South. You will find them listed here.
Last year Carolina Speakers presented programs to audiences at community colleges, high schools, civic clubs, chambers of commerce and business organizations, retirement communities, alumni clubs, libraries and museums. More than 20,000 people - North Carolinians in all walks of life - were entertained and informed by our faculty speakers.
