Lynn Blanchard, M.P.H., Ph.D.
Lynn Blanchard is Director of the Carolina Center for Public Service at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also holds an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor in Health Behavior and Health Education at the UNC School of Public Health. Her interests center on public service and how people work together to address issues of shared concern.
Specific areas of experience include collaboration, community-building and community-based health improvement.
Blanchard has developed and worked with a wide array of community programs including those focused on visioning and priority-setting, health improvement (including children with special needs, HIV/AIDS, community water fluoridation, walking clubs, and community service exchange system). She is a certified trainer in TRUE COLORS, an interactive workshop around communication and work style preference.
