 Philip Carl, Ph.D.
As associate professor in the department of pharmacology, Philip Carl works on DNA replication/repair and drug development. He also teaches an intensive course on drug discovery and development, and is associate director of the Program in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
His hobbies and interests include the history of science and mathematics and the applications of ancient biotechnology to food processing (i.e., bread baking and wine tasting).
