 Wayne Christiansen, Ph.D.
Wayne Christiansen, professor of physics and astronomy, has been a visiting astronomer at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he studied the evolution of quasars and radio galaxies. He looks skyward because "once you experience the exhilaration of peeling back even a couple of layers of reality, of understanding creation at a deeper level, it becomes addictive."
"I can imagine careers that would offer me more money, but I'll pay a certain price for that feeling." In 1996, Christiansen received the first John Lassiter Sanders Award for distinguished undergraduate teaching and service."
