William A. Darity, Ph.D.William A. Darity, Ph.D.

As the Boshamer Professor of Economics and Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor Darity focuses on developmental economics, macroeconomics, and the history of economic thought. Of particular interest to him is how race and ethnic background may affect wages. An important goal of his is to encourage black college students to pursue academic careers.
