 Daniel N. Hooker, Ph.D.
As a physical therapist and athletic trainer in sports medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill for the past thirty years, Professor Hooker has spent the last thirteen years working with the Tar Heel football team. He is an adjunct assistant professor of orthopedics in the School of Medicine and has published several recent articles, book chapters, and videotapes on sports medicine therapy and treatment following knee arthroscopy and ankle sprain. He received the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer award from the NATA in 2002.
