Matt Kupec, M.S.
Team play has always been important to Matt Kupec - important
in the 1970s when he started as quarterback for the Tar
Heels and important now as he serves as vice chancellor
for advancement. He knows as well as anyone that Carolina's
future depends on the talents, the goodwill, and the resources
of a wide mix of people. And no one speaks more enthusiastically
about that wide mix than Kupec.
He describes the role of legislators, the impact of taxpayers, and the generosity of donors to illustrate the power of team play in building one of the nation's greatest public universities.
