Carolina
Center For Public Service
The Carolina Center For Public Service (CPS) was
established to help students, faculty and staff of the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill as they conduct public service in the community
and the state, and it serves as a point where people who are in need of
service can find out who in the University can provide it.
North
Carolina Humanities Council
For over 30 years, the NC Humanities Council has
supported free public humanities programs throughout the state. By helping
sustain projects ranging from dramatizations about the lives of migrant
farm workers to summer institutes for public school teachers, the NCHC
gives North Carolinians opportunities to share and understand the state's
