Norman Loewenthal, M.Ed.
A veteran of the university's continuing education program, Norman Loewenthal has helped to guide the emergence of the William and Ida Friday Center and electronic distance education as powerful forces for lifelong learning. With his appointment as Director of the Friday Center for Continuing Education, he seeks to convey the learning opportunities available to the public through a variety of UNC-sponsored programs.
Whether pursuing personal enrichment or academic credit, audiences will find in his presentation new avenues for learning and growth outside the traditional classroom - and an opportunity to suggest ideas for further continuing education initiatives.
