Steven H. Zeisel, M.D.
Steven Zeisel is professor and chair of the Department of Nutrition and is also professor of pediatrics. His research focuses on nutrient metabolism, with special emphasis on establishing human nutrient requirements and on identifying cancer-causing agents that are produced within our bodies.
Among his many other professional affiliations, Dr. Zeisel serves on the Medical Education Committee of the American Society for Clinical Nutrition. He is also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry.
