Community Forum: Discussions and Initiatives
The university is particularly focused on fostering greater interaction and collaboration with diverse racial, ethnic, and religious communities. Formal and informal groups and organizations exist to help focus the energies of local citizens and university officials in these important partnerships.
Please contact the the Associate Provost for Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Dr. Archie Ervin , at 919-962-6962 to learn of existing collaborations and to talk about new opportunities for community and university partnerships.
Current initiatives include:
- Faith and Reconciliation Initiative - a group of religious community leaders who work to bridge gaps across religious lines to launch community efforts in solving social issues
- African American Advisory Group
