Intersectionality: Exploring Diversity from Varied Perspectives
The 2012 Diversity Summit is a day-long summit that will feature a special performance by the Sacrificial Poets--North Carolina's premier youth spoken word organization, concurrent morning and afternoon breakout sessions on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation/identity, age, disability, gender, socio-economic status. Participants are encouraged to engage with the presenters and make their voices heard on these important issues. The conference will also include a networking lunch.
