About High School Honors Day
High School Honors Day is one of many programs sponsored by Diversity and Multicultural Affairs to enhance the diversity of the undergraduate community at Carolina. Academically talented high school seniors who are African American, Native American, Hispanic, Asian American, low income or rural students, or from other historically underrepresented populations, are invited to attend the program. The High School Honors Day Program offers students and their parents an opportunity to gain valuable first-hand knowledge from University officials and student leaders about academic programs, admissions requirements, scholarship and grant opportunities and much, much more. This program is specifically targeted for students who have participated in other Diversity and Multicultural Affairs recruitment efforts or who are recommended by their high school guidance counselor.
