Hispanic/Latino Student Recruitment Day | September 18, 2009
Updates:
- To all of our 2009 attendees:
We hope you enjoyed your time on campus with us and we look forward to seeing you in the Spring for Día de Bienvenidos/Day of Welcome—for accepted students.
- Please check back in August of 2010 for our next Hispanic/Latino Recruitment Day
This program offers Hispanic/Latino high school seniors an opportunity to experience diverse aspects of Carolina life. The program will provide you with information about admissions, financial aid, academic support, housing and social life at Carolina. You'll meet with faculty, staff, and students who will assist you in becoming better acquainted with not only the Carolina life, but college life in general.
During the weekend, you will spend one night in a residence hall with a Carolina student. You will get to know the campus, attend college classes and learn about the Carolina Hispanic Association. We will provide letters of excused absence for Friday classes and a permission slip for your parents to sign.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Gabriel Retana at (919) 843-6086 or by email.
