More about NCR:

Sponsored in conjunction with the North Carolina Renaissance, this newly established program invites rural high school sophomores to the University campus for a special one-week enrichment program. The goals of the program are to inspire gifted young scholars to pursue their educational dreams, and to broaden the scope of their experiences as they look to the future. Fifty Renaissance scholars will be selected this year from guidance counselor nomination to come to Carolina for a four day program. Students wil participate in sessions exploring teambuilding, college admissions, financial aid, the Ackland Art Museum and community service.
