The Campus Visitation Coordinator (CVC) is responsible for coordinating all family and small or large group visits to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus by working closely with the campus admissions office and visitors’ center. The CVC selects and trains all visitation and panel staff members. All staff members under the CVC’s direction are held accountable by a list of duties and requirements set in place by the CVC and DMA professional staff. Completion of the staff members’ duties are rewarded with recognition through a pinning ceremony coordinated by the CVC. The CVC is also responsible for requesting and collecting informational material from various campus departments including but not limited to academic schools and departments, admissions, campus organizations and student resources. Materials are often used in large and small recruitment events as well as visitations hosted by DMA. All informational materials provided for student participants and visitors is collected and collated by the CVC. The CVC is also responsible for assisting in various capacities including assisting with Tar Heel Target and many other recruitment and outreach efforts which may include travel to cities outside of Chapel Hill. The role of CVC also includes a summer component. The CVC will serve as the office manager and Wellness program coordinator for ODMA’s Project Uplift program. The position also entails serving as the coordinator of all informational material given to all program participants.
