Academic Services | Academic Services consists of the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes, Learning Disabilities Services, the Learning Center, the Summer Bridge Program, Chemistry and Mathematics Tutorials, and the Writing Center. These programs focus on providing academic support services to students from the moment they enter the University.
Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence | Described by its planning committee as a "democracy of learning," the Center's mission is to lead a renaissance in undergraduate education at Carolina . Students come to the Johnston Center to learn about undergraduate research and Honors Study Abroad opportunities, to meet distinguished Carolina alumni and campus visitors, to participate in arts and cultural events, and to get to know their professors as scholars and people.
Leadership Development | Carolina Leadership Development offers a variety of services and programs for everyone interested in leadership at the University.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Office | The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Office works to create, maintain, and strengthen an open, safe, and inclusive environment for people of all sexualities and gender identities.
Office of the Dean of Students | Through the enforcement of University policies such as the Honor Code , the Racial Harassment Policy, the Sexual Harassment Policy, and the Student Alcohol Policy, the office serves to promote a positive learning environment in which students may achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Office for Student Counseling | The Office for Student Academic Counseling offers academic counseling and personal support for all UNC students. Historically, OSC's primary objective has been to sponsor programs and activities that promote academic excellence, increase retention, and improve the campus climate for diversity among minority students in general and Native American and African American undergraduates in particular.
Office of Scholarships and Student Aid | The mission of the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid is to ensure that qualified students have the opportunity to study at the University regardless of their ability to pay the full costs of attendance.

Pre-Orientation | As a new Carolina student, the Office for Minority Affairs and currently enrolled students invite you to attend Pre-Orientation 2004! Pre-O is designed to assist African American, Native American, Hispanic and other underrepresented new students with their transition to Carolina.
Summer Bridge | Summer Bridge is a seven-week residential academic support program for a select group of entering first-year students. The program is designed to ease participants' personal and academic transition from high school to the University.
