Wolfgang Hoffmann, Institute for Community Medicine, Health Care Epidemiology and Community Health, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-University Greifswald, Greifswald, Germany will present Childhood leukemia in proximity to nuclear facilities: a long-standing controversy on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:00 - 12:00 in McGavran-Greenberg 2101G (Department of Epidemiology conference room). Dr. Hoffmann, a graduate of UNC's Department of Epidemiology, recently led an extended investigation into environmental causes of leukemia and lymphoma that employed innovative strategies for exposure assessment.</description>
