Honorary Degrees and Special Awards Committee
The Honorary Degrees and Special Awards Committee of the Faculty considers nominations from the faculty for five major awards each year:
- Honorary Degrees awarded at Commencement each May
- Distinguished Alumnus and Alumna Awards, presented each University Day (October 12)
- Thomas Jefferson Award, presented at Faculty Council each April
- Edward Kidder Graham Award
- O. Max Gardner Award
