Educational Policy Committee Meeting
December 5, 2007
Minutes
Meeting began at 11 am.
Committee members present: Foster, Stewart, Gordon, Gilleskie, Montgomerie, Norberg, Schoenfisch, Perrin, Sancar, Poehls.
Donna Gilleskie and Peter Gordon agreed to talk to Faculty Council on Dec. 7, 2007 about the priority registration proposal. Discussion followed.
Minutes from Oct. 17, 2007 and Nov. 7, 2007 were distributed and approved after minor revisions.
Spring EPC meetings will be on the third Wednesday of the month from 8:30 - 10 am in Davis 219.
Two transcript remark proposals were considered.
Proposal from the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering was tabled to allow Alice Poehls to review the proposal and suggest new language.
Proposal from the Robertson Scholars program. EPC asked Alice Poehls to modify the language of the proposed remark and will reconsider the proposal in January
EPC then briefly reviewed a draft of a preliminary revised distance learning document from the College of Arts and Sciences.
