~ Basketball season is here and the following explains how Carolina Fever will carry out its distributions.
THE BASICS: A list of who made each distribution will be sent out via eamil and will also be posted on the door of the CAA office (Suite 3508 Room C in the Student Union). The email we send out will tell you when the lists will be up on the door and when they will be coming down. When we say it's coming down, there will be NO exceptions. You will come by the CAA office and sign up for the games for which you want tickets. If you CANNOT go to a game, do not sign up for tickets. Since the lists are on the door, you can sign up at anytime.
HOW LISTS ARE DETERMINED: All the events from September 1, to the last distribution are split into 4 sections. The top 180 point-earners from each section will get tickets for that distribution. All the points from the entire year go towards the Dook game.
IN THE CASE OF A TIE: If a tie occurs among the top 180 people, a tie list will be formulated. If you are on the tie list, you will go by the office and initial beside your name on the designated list. Once the lists are taken down, if enough tickets are still available for the people who signed the tie list, you will get tickets. If there aren't enough tickets, we will do a drawing for the tickets. You will get an email telling you a meeting place and time. You will come to this and bring you OneCard. If you can't come, give your OneCard to a friend and tell them to come.
IF YOU DIDN'T GET TICKETS THROUGH CAROLINA FEVER: Then, you can participate in the campus wide distribution by getting a bracelet from Gate 5 of Kenan Stadium and waking up early on the designated Saturday morning OR you can come to the Fever distribution. A line will be formed outside of Fetzer 109. If Fever has extra tickets, we will distribute them to the people in this line on a first-come, first-serve basis. NOTE: to do this you MUST be a member of Carolina Fever. Also, you cannot do both the Fever distribution and the campus wide distribution per Honor Code regulations.
RISER POLICY: The riser policy is attached to the email. People on the tie list do NOT have the riser option. If you want risers you will sign up for these on the CAA office door. Read the attached policy!
HONOR CODE: Remember that the Honor Code does apply to basketball tickets. You cannot get tickets through Carolina Fever and the regular campus wide distribution. You cannot sell your ticket. If any of this happens, you will NOT get tickets for the rest of the season and we will turn you in to the Honor Court. We aren't out to get anyone in trouble but we have no problem reporting violators of the Honor Code Policies.
