No aircraft may be fueled or drained while the aircraft engine is running or while the aircraft is in a hangar or an enclosed area. During all fuel operations, the aircraft must be grounded by an FAA-approved method. Smoking or lighting of an open flame is prohibited within fifty feet of any fueling operations. Fueling operations must be conducted, and fuel trucks must be parked, at least fifty feet from any hangar or building. No fuel storage or dispensing equipment may be installed and used at the Airport except by the University. The use of skid tanks and other such devices is prohibited. The drainage of fuel tanks, or the disposal in any manner of fuel, is prohibited on Airport premises without the advance written permission of the Manager. Fueling of aircraft is not permitted outside the normal hours of operation. AHEC aircraft are exempted.
