Overview

Purchasing Services—which contracts on behalf of the University for all supplies, materials, and services, such as printing, equipment, supplies, surveys, and consultant services—is divided into three areas directly managed by the Director of Material & Disbursement Services. The current listing of personnel (with e-mail addresses and telephone numbers) is maintained on the Purchasing Division Web page.

Operations/Customer Service (962-2251)

Campus training & liaison, customer service, payroll, human resources, and internal technology.

Contracts Management

All service contracts. The three categories of services are general services, personal services, and consultant services.  Examples include one-time service requests, housekeeping services, consultant services, and maintenance services.

Strategic Sourcing and Major Acquisitions

All materials, for example: dental and medical sera, radioactive isotopes, enzymes, computer hardware/software, furniture, reupholstering, musical instruments, and storeroom stock.  Additionally, supervises the P-card (purchasing card) and small order programs.
